Sometimes we forget what we set out to do. Sometimes we find what we set out to do is not what we end up doing.

Here it comes. With the change of season, so does my life change.  I can already feel myself moving on, and yet I continue to struggle to keep a hold of what I know and miss. As the newest pictures show, I have begun to work in the Bake Shop.  It is not as bad as I had initially thought it would be, but it is still not my favorite thing in the world.  The new instructor leaves something to be desired, but she tries her best, I can give her that.  My question is, why would you leave your job at Le Cordon Bleu for my tiny college? AHA! Four more weeks until classes start up again! I am extremely excited for this semester to begin! I will be in the bake shop for most of the semester, which is not exactly what I was wanting, but they are useful skills I will be learning. My instructor for this semester has actually retired so who knows who will be teaching my class!  Perhaps it will be the elusive Chef Ron! To me he is a mythical being, I have only heard stories of the man from my chef buddies. I am sure he exists!
